Members of the public can request to observe any part of the elections process.
You must request authorization from the County Elections Official to watch the receiving and counting of votes at the County Elections Office.
- The authorization must be in writing.
- The authorization must be signed by an officer of a political party’s county affiliate, a candidate or the County Elections Official.
- The County Elections Official has discretion as to how many observers will be allowed so as not to interfere with an orderly processing of the votes.
